School-Age Child Care

Kids World is a certified & accredited fee-based child care program for children ages 3-12 operating before and after school at Roosevelt, Jefferson and Lincoln. We also offer care on many non-school days and for about 10 weeks during the summer. 

OCTOBER UPDATES

26-27 School Year Registration is OPEN! 

  • Registration for the October 14th Non-School Day is FULL. Please email treuvers@faribault.k12.mn.us to be put on a wait list. 
  • No Kids World October 15th & 16th.

IMPORTANT - UPCOMING PROGRAM CLOSURES

  • Kids World will be closed both before and after school on Friday October 23rd for a staff professional development day. 

Non-School Days

Kids World offers full day child care on many non-school days at Roosevelt School from 7:00am-5:00pm.

  • October 14th
  • November 13th, 20th, 25th
  • December 11th, 28th, 29th & 30th
  • January 18th
  • February 12th & 15th
  • March 5th, 8th, 9th, 10th 19th, 26th
  • April 23rd

Families that have a registered contract may sign up to attend Non-School Days in their arux account. Registration opens a month before the non-school day and closes a week before or when we've reached capacity.  For staffing purposes, children must be pre-registered for the day to attend. 

2026-2027 Non-School Day care will have new hours from 7:00am-5:00pm.

Summer Kids World

  • Summer Registration will open April 1st
  • Program Dates: June 14th through August 19th
  • Programming offered Monday - Friday
  • Program Hours: 6:30am-5:30pm
  • Location: TBD

Kids World Rates and Payment Information

  • Registration fee is due at the time your contract is approved and is non-refundable.
  • Must be up-to-date on Kids World Payments to begin a new Child Care Contract
  • Families are responsible for checking their weekly invoices (sent by email through arux) 
    • Families are billed each Tuesday for the previous week of child care services. Payments will be due the following Monday. 
    • Families are automatically enrolled in AutoPay. Families can elect to unenroll in AutoPay, but will be held responsible for making weekly payments.
    • Payments can be made online at  www.faribault.arux.app or on site by cash, check or money order (made out to faribault Public Schools - Kids World).
