Food FindsFood FindsDo you like to cook? If so, come and join us in making some great classic dishes and fabulous treats. Once a month, we will be creating and cooking up a storm! Learning about what it takes to put a wonderful meal together. Water and lemonade will be provided most nights. Feel free to bring your own if you prefer. In order to ensure that we order enough pizza, preregistration is highly recommended. June July August June 5th (ASL interpreted) June 12th June 17th July 10th (ASL interpreted) July 15th July 24th August 7st (ASL interpreted) August 14th Participants - $13 (Includes two pieces of pizza, one beverage and one prize) Staff - $7 (includes two pieces of pizza and one beverage) - Please wait to eat until all participants have been served. *Project ABLE is no longer collecting money at events. You will be invoiced. This helps alleviate processing and to avoid any chances of losing money. Special EventsProject ABLE Special EventsSPECIAL EVENTS . July 29th - Summer Picnic We will be having burgers/hotdogs, pickles, chips, cookies, watermelon and water/pop. Location: North Alexander Park Shelter #1 Date: Wednesday, July 29th Time: 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm Cost: $10 Registration cut off July 17th to give us enough time to get supplies. Staff will need to register as well if you'd like to eat. . August 22nd - Science Museum The Science Museum of Minnesota is a large interactive science museum. Many exhibits encourage participation, allowing guests to experiment, interact with displays, and learn through activities. TRIP DETAILS Bus will leave promptly at 9:30 AM (arrive by 9:15 AM to load the bus) Bring a bag lunch or concessions will be available at the cafe at the museum Bus will return to the FEC around 3:30 PM Date: Saturday, August 22nd Time: 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM Cost: Participant - $25 (Includes ticket cost and bus transportation) ~ Staff - FreeProject ABLE Summer 2026 -

Weekly bowling results will be given each evening. Lanes will be assigned based on requests and needs. Please be sure to arrive on time. Participants that arrive late will not be guaranteed original lane assignments and not guaranteed two games.
