FREE Summer Archery Sample with the Faribault Falcon Archers
The Faribault Falcon Archers would like to invite all kids from grade K to 12 to try out the Genesis bow. These two 2-day camps are for trying out the bow and practice some skills out in the field. This could be an opening to joining one of our teams for the upcoming school year or participate at our FREE kids Saturdays held over the winter.
We will be hosting our introductory camp twice this upcoming summer. We will be meeting at the Rice County Fairgrounds by the horse barns.
The National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) brings the sport of archery to millions of students in schools across the United States. Faribault Public Schools has taught the NASP archery program in middle school Phy-ed classes for over ten years. The main objectives the class covers are: archery history, safety, technique, equipment, mental concentration, and self-improvement.
CHANGING LIVES ONE ARROW AT A TIME…
Archery is a life-long sport that engages students of all genders, physical abilities, and backgrounds, even aiding participation in students with disabilities. Archery is a physical activity in which students can participate together and puts athletes and non-athletes on a level playing field.
The National Archery in the Schools Program routinely transforms previously unreachable "high risk" students by unlocking self-esteem and transforming individual lives forever.
